Ascot.
If you bet on Her Majesty to wear a predominantly white hat then the drinks are on you.
But while all eyes are supposed to be on the monarch's headwear, it's
the choice of hat of her granddaughter Princess Eugenie which is likely to grab all the
headlines.......
Fans of the turf usually put their money on which horse will be first past the post.
Today, though, the big talking point at Royal Ascot will be the colour of the
Queen's Ladies Day hat.
Although green continues to be the 7-4 favourite, bookmaker William Hill has
seen a steady surge in punters putting their money on white.
