The First Editions: 'Fascist On The Palace Lawn' Prompts "Appalled" Mayor To Act |

The
Mayor of London has tonight urged the Chair of the London Assembly to "intervene
and withdraw" the invitation extended to a member of the BNP to a Buckingham Palace garden party.
Revealing that he is "appalled" at the invitation which, Boris Johnson has
accused the BNP of turning a "happy annual event" into a "political stunt".
Although Buckingham Palace says the invitations are yet to go out to the July event, the controversy has resulted in one damning front page this coming Thursday morning, the Daily Mail headline reading: 'Fascist On The Palace Lawn'.
