Well,
you can certainly tell Lady Louise Windsor is a royal as, despite being
aged just 2, she's already been photographed riding a horse (a very big horse at that for such a little tot!).
This lovely image of the rarely seen Louise out with Mum Sophie, Countess of Wessex, appears in Saturday's Daily Mail newspaper.
It's
heartwarming to see Sophie and her daughter enjoying themselves after
what has been a tough year.
Just recently Sophie was in mourning following the death from cancer in August of her 71-year-old mother Mary, and Louise herself has been the subject of much speculation
concerning her health.
The Queen's youngest granddaughter was born with a condition called
exotropia which means one of her eyes turns outwards and there has been speculation that Louise may undergo an operation to fix the problem.
Louise
is possibly the youngest royal child, at least of recent years, to have
been photographed sitting atop a horse, but no doubt there'll be many
more such images in the years ahead.
Comment: I am a British subject, but have lived in the USA for many years, and since I heard About Lady Louise's eye condition I have been praying hard for her. My youngest daughter was born with exotropia and was operated on at 9 months. She is now 42 and doing wonderfully well, one wouldn't know she ever had a problem. I hope this is encouraging news to the Earl and Countess of Wessex

Comment: Nice to see a photo of the youngest of the Queen's grandchildren. Its the only one I recall seeing since her birth.

Comment: Does anybody know if Sophie Wessex is pregnant? There was talk last August that she had been pregnant for three months. This picture doesn't really answer the question.

Comment: A lovely picture of a tiny tot. Of all the Royal babies, I have hardly ever seen a photograph of Louise.

Comment: I love this picture, it is one of my favorites of the past year. Sophie looks wonderful being Mom, helping little Lady Louise along on her journey to ride her horse.

Comment: Well, she almost learned to ride a horse before she learned to walk. This picture is so cute and I am sure she is a delight to her family.

Comment: That poor little girl. Never has she done anything to suggest she wants to be in the papers, nor has her mum, and yet here are pictures of her going about her life, printed in the national press and now here. How is this in the national interest? How is it in her interest? How is it in anyone's interest except those who want to 'collect' images of Royals like stamps?
