If a Sunday newspaper is to be believed, it appears the romance between Prince William and girlfriend Kate Middleton is going from strength to strength as it's claimed William has hatched quite a plan - a very costly one at that! - to make sure he can spend Christmas Day with the woman he apparently loves... The People newspaper will claim this Sunday that William is so desperate to spend Christmas Day with his girlfriend of several years that he has made a special 'plea' to the Queen. If William's request that Kate spend Christmas Day at Sandringham with the Royal Family is turned down, the newspaper claims William will go so far as to hire a private jet so he can fly later in the day from the Queen's Norfolk estate to Kate's Berkshire home. An unnamed insider (is there any other kind?!) tells the paper: "His plans may involve hiring a private jet, but at the moment he seems confident the Queen will give her approval for Kate to join everyone at Sandringham, particularly as she let Kate go to Balmoral in the summer". It's already been reported (though it's as yet unconfirmed) that Prince Harry won't spend Christmas with the Royal Family as he plans to spend the rare free time he has away from Sandhurst Military Academy overseas with his girlfriend, Chelsy Davy.
