Many men would be tempted to deck another man who spoke in crude terms about having fantasies about his wife, a woman he's loved for several decades.
It's questionable, then, how the Prince of Wales may react on Saturday when he comes face-to-face with rock star Rod Stewart at an official event in Philadelphia at the start of Charles and Camilla's two-day visit to America.
The musician famous for his hit song Do Ya Think I'm Sexy? admitted in December that he finds the Duchess of Cornwall attractive. His comment came just days after he enjoyed a pleasant conversation with the 59-year-old Duchess at The Royal Variety Performance. However, this didn't stop him telling a journalist in far from dignified terms: "I can imagine her and me in a haystack."
Not exactly the kind of remark we'd expect about someone who is destined to sit on the throne alongside her husband as, in all likelihood, Queen Consort.
However, Rod likely needn't fear any retribution (of course!), for this will be no less than the third time in less than a year that Charles and the pop star have met up. In fact, the singer made his remark just days after meeting the 59-year-old Duchess at The Royal Variety Performance in London.
It's possible the Prince and Stewart will be enjoying each other's company once more if Charles were to be on duty at the Buckingham Palace investiture later this year at which the rock star will be honoured with the CBE he was awarded in the New Year Honours List.
Meanwhile, the first details have been released of Charles and Camilla's schedule.
The couple will arrive in Philadelphia on Saturday, where the public will be able to see the royal visitors for the first time at 11.15am (local time) when they depart their heavily protected motorcade in the 500 block of Walnut Street.
The couple will embark on a walk to Independence Hall, where they will be received by Govenor Rendell, Mayor Street and officials from the National Park Service.
Other engagements include a meeting with students at the Liberty Bell, and a reception at the National Constitution Centre where the royal couple will speak with community leaders and members of the local British community.
