Quizzed on where Jazmin would reside, the Prince's lawyer confirmed that she is very welcome to travel to Monaco on her terms, adding: "For the time being, Jazmin Grace will pursue her studies in the United States, but she will always have the option to come to the principality to spend a few days or to live."
Described as a "mature, sweet and intelligent" girl, Jazmin is currently a pupil at St. Margarets Episcopal School in Palm Desert, California.
Jazmin's latest public appearance will be no surprise to some elements of the media. Despite Albert having hired legal representatives to protect his eldest child from the aforementioned press and photographers, France's Le Figaro newspaper has claimed that Jazmin is contemplating becoming a celebrity and possibly even writing a book, such is the level of media interest in her life.
The young woman whom, had fate taken a different path, could have been sharing the Palace balcony with her royal cousins, including Charlotte and Pierre Casiraghi, appears destined instead to live a life far from the spotlight which consumes many of her royal relations.
While Jazmin was preparing to make a low-key appearance in California, her father was once again in the spotlight, appearing alongside his sister, Princess Stephanie, at the International Circus Festival which rolls into Monaco each January.
Although separated by distance, the Prince has acknowledged his responsibility to both of his children, offering each child and their mothers the necessary financial and moral support.
