Despite her young age, Jazmin has shown she is very much aware of life beyond her royal heritage by helping those less priviliged than herself.
In November 2006, she displayed the level of maturity which has earned her praise from those around her when she embarked on a humanitarian trip to eight islands in Fiji.
Here, the young woman who is named after her paternal grandmother Grace (a tribute allegedly made despite the disapproval of Prince Rainier) helped alert the outside world to the need for extra supplies of medicine and a greater level of educational support for local children.
The 'royal' visitor even donated 30,000 pre-natal vitamins to the Savusava Hospital which is based on one of the South Pacific islands.
Although now back home in America, the Prince's daughter continues to work to help those less fortunate than herself through her own website, The Jazmin Fund.
She may not have the title and role of a bona fide Princess, but there are those who would muse that, considering some of the headline-grabbing escapades of members of her blue-blooded family, Jazmin is a Grimaldi of whom everyone can be proud.
Comment: Make a difference between an official juridical and civil divorce, which is perfectly legal and the annulment of a marriage by the Tribunal of the Roman Rota. That annulment is only necessary to marry for a second time in a Catholich church. For civic law that annulment has no any relevance.
Princess Caroline divorced Philippe Junot on October 2nd 1980. This marriage was officially annulled by the Tribunal of the Roman Rota on June 20th 1992.
In 1983 she married Andrea Casiraghi and in 1999 she married Prince Ernst-August of Hannover. Both marriages were officiated in a civil ceremony at the Palais Princier in Monte Carlo. There was no religious marriage in 1983 and 1999.

Comment: The constitution of Monaco and the succession laws were changed by Prince Rainier to allow for Caroline and her children to inherit the throne if Albert fails to have legitimate children. Prior to this the succession included only the legitimate - or adopted - children of the currently reigning Prince. Which meant that collatoral decent (brother to sister or nephew) was forbidden and Monaco would have become an autonomous region of France if Albert died childless. The new law gives succession rights for those who are decendants of Rainier who are legitimate but now bars succession via adoption which would have benefited Jazmin and Alexandre.

Comment: Henri Help me on this one!! Wasn't the constitution in Monaco changed a few years ago that if Albert has no legimate heirs than Caroline and than Andrea succeed? If I remember correctly and I mean no disrespect when Caroline married Stefano Casiraghi her marriage to Philippe Junot had not been annulled therefore Andrea and his siblings were considered illigimate.Until a few years ago when the Vatican granted an annulment and that was after Stefano died her marriage to him was not reconized as they did not marry in the church. So my question is how can Alberts children be by passed and Carolines not? All Albert would have to do is marry the mother to legitimize the child either Jazmin or Alexandre I wonder just what he is afraid of? And why deny the child of his/her birthright

Comment: Also the late Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands has fathered two illegitimate daughters: Alicia de Bielefelde by an American lady and Alexia Lejeune by the French Hélène Baroness Lejeune-Grinda. Both were officially recognized as his children and they have shared equally in the late Prince's personal fortune (estimated around € 260 million, to be divided by four-plus-two daughters). The Prince had a good relationship with the two extramarital daughters, now rich millionaire ladies.
The present King of Belgium has also recognized an extramarital daughter, Delphine Boël, from an affair with Sibylle Baroness de Selys-Longchamps. But unlike Prince Bernhard and Prince Albert, he has never been willing to develop a relationship with his daughter.
And to Poppy: in the Dutch case it is impossible that the two illegitimate daughters can be successors because by Constitution only children born in a marriage which was approved by an Act of Consent, can become successors.

In Monaco it will not be too difficult to change things, but they will follow old nobility rules stating that those born out of a marriage can not be dynasts.

Comment: Jazmin is truly a lovely young lady. However, Prince Albert is a huge disappointment. If he insists on having sex with ladies he meets and dates for a while, why not use protection? Extremely selfish of him to have casual sex then have several paternity suits popping up to embarrass his country and family! Why not marry one of these ladies? Comment: First it must be said that Prince Albert has behaved rather stupidly considering his position . A score of no legitimate children and two illigitimate ones is not very smart when you are the Hereditary Prince .
It seems Jazmin , now acknowledged , is really going to push for her place in the sun . Although Princess Stephanie's children are growing up in a non-Royal way , and they never appear with their Casiraghi cousins on the Palace balcony .
On Jazmin's Island mission she was accompanied by her mother Theresa Rotolo , who simply pushed her daughter in front of the cameras and stayed back . Such a mission is truly amazing at 14 which I believe is all she was at the time . Perhaps she had a stage mother waiting in the wings ?
