Despite her young age, Jazmin has shown she is very much aware of life beyond her royal heritage by helping those less priviliged than herself. In November 2006, she displayed the level of maturity which has earned her praise from those around her when she embarked on a humanitarian trip to eight islands in Fiji. Here, the young woman who is named after her paternal grandmother Grace (a tribute allegedly made despite the disapproval of Prince Rainier) helped alert the outside world to the need for extra supplies of medicine and a greater level of educational support for local children. The 'royal' visitor even donated 30,000 pre-natal vitamins to the Savusava Hospital which is based on one of the South Pacific islands. Although now back home in America, the Prince's daughter continues to work to help those less fortunate than herself through her own website, The Jazmin Fund. Comment on this article
