Now, Prince Andrew's ex-wife has made a remarkable claim about how her late mother made her grow up to feel like a "monster" and helped destroy her confidence before she was even a teenager.

Speaking in a British TV interview to be broadcast later this month, Sarah claims Susan Barrantes, who was tragically killed in a car crash in Argentina in 1998, told her then 12-year-old daughter she was too ugly to look in a mirror.

The Duchess also alleges that her mother told her that she'd been "given to her by the postman" because she looked so different to other members of her family.

The revelations reportedly come in an interview Sarah has given to her longtime friend Pamela Stephenson.
