Prince Harry is set to receive a lift prior to his six-month deployment to Iraq. His girlfriend, Chelsy Davy, has reportedly decided to cut short her gap year world tour and fly to England to offer support to her soldier boyfriend.

According to a friend of 21-year-old Chelsy, who's currently travelling with her brother Shaun and a group of friends: "She was planning to go to New York for a month for the last leg of her gap year, but now she will fly to London early to be with Harry."

"She knows Harry’s six months in Iraq are going to be the biggest test yet of their relationship, so she wants to give it the best possible chance of surviving. She is missing him and wants some quality time with him."

Having been undertaking further exercises with his regiment of the Blues and Royals of The Household Cavalry, the Prince is now preparing for his own well-earned break from his duties, Chelsy's friend revealing: "Harry also has two weeks' holiday he'll be able to take before going to war. It means they will get to spend some time together before he leaves."
