They once resounded to the laughter of a young Princess and her children.
Now, the apartments in which Diana, Princess of Wales lived
at Kensington Palace are reportedly set to be inhabited by the Prince of Wales' Arts and Kids Foundation.
Diana's rooms at what is affectionally known by the royals and their staff as 'KP' have been vacant since the tragic death of the Princess in a Paris car crash on August 31st 1997.
The foundation introduces children to the joys of the arts and is one which the Princess would have wholly approved thanks to its endeavours to enhance the lives of children across the United Kingdom.
Although to her constant dismay she was portrayed as far less cultured than her husband, Diana was a huge fan of the arts, most especially ballet and opera. In fact, she is said to have much preferred classical music to the world of pop with which she was so often associated.
