The organisers of the Concert For Diana have dismissed fears the event has been ruined by the scheduling in the same week of the Al Gore-led Live Earth series of concerts.
Princes William and Harry's musical tribute to their late mother is due to take place at Wembley stadium on July 1st, the day on which Diana would have celebrated her 46th birthday.
However, organisers of the Live Earth gigs which will take place in cities across the globe chose July 7th to stage their event, one which will help raise awareness of the need to tackle global warming.
This event has seen some of the biggest bands and solo artists in the world clamour to get on board. Amongst the big names scheduled to perform at Live Earth are Madonna, Black Eyed Peas, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and U2.
In comparison, organisers working with some input from William and Harry to build a strong line-up for the Concert For Diana have reportedly struggled to sign-up headline acts.
