One is 'Ray Barone', the son of an irascible,
politically incorrect father and member of one of the world's most
famous comedy families.
The other is Prince Edward, who (of course)
nobody would dream of claiming has anything whatsoever in
common with the American TV character and his sometimes crazy clan!
Having spent much of his early life dreaming of a career in
the performing arts, the Earl of Wessex appeared in his element as he met up
with some of the stars of Everybody Loves Raymond during a charity
event in Beverly Hills.
The Queen's youngest son was at the Beverly Hilton Hotel for a fundraiser in honour of Viewpoint School as part of his tour of the West Coast of the United States.
The Prince has been in the region for a series of engagements during which he's continued his extensive work to celebrate the achievements of the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme and its young participants, both in Britain and across the Atlantic.
Unfortunately for Edward, it's possible that some onlookers at the event may have been left wondering who exactly 'H.R.H. The Earl of Wessex' is, for on this occasion he was in the company of several TV legends.
