On Friday, at least one newspaper had claimed that Kate had been spotted holding hands with another of William's friend's, Jamie Murray Wells.
Am I the only one getting dizzy following this story of who in William's world is dating whom?
Comment: My brother went to a school in the US similar to St Andrews (majority of graduates marry each other and everybody from extremely privileged backgrounds). Even 20 years later, they have a very tightly knit yet wide circle of friends -- most of whom have married each other. Prior to getting married, there was dating and breakups but they would inevitably end up married to someone else within the circle (even if they married someone else who didn't go to school with them, they were embraced by the rest of the group so it seemed like they had been part of the circle all along). They have all stayed very close friends with no hard feelings whatsoever among anybody (even if people had formerly been long-term girlfriend/boyfriend but now married to someone else within the circle), as far as I can see. They are godparents to each other's children, they spend weekends at each other's country houses, etc. It really doesn't seem wierd at all, and actually quite civilized. Btw, they are not at all snobby or exclusive -- all are very friendly and sociable and have incredibly wide-reaching range of friends. While I don't know William or Kate or Henry or anybody else in their circle, their situation really reminds me a lot of my brother's circle of friends.

Comment: I totally understand how this "passing around"(like they don't have a choice in who they date?) can happen. They hang in the same circles. They see the same people, go out with the same groups. It would be stupid of people to assume that because K&W break it off, they automatically drop all friends in common and don't see them anymore. Billions have been made from movies with just such a scenario. Boy meets girl, boy gets cold feet, dumps girl, girl finds the best friend is a true gentleman, and crys on his shoulder. They start a romance, and end up in love/married. Royal relations are no different. I am not at all surprised they could date someone they knew together.

Comment: I was told this is a english way of dating, 'swap' ex with your circle of friends... it happened to my friends, they all "pass around" their bf and gf and surpringly, the 3 couples still live in the same rented house. To me, that is wicked creepy!! If anyone, i MEAN anyone, who really cares about the person he/she is with, how can that person just 'pass' him/her along and still live with them? i know i cant do it ...
to be honest, how serious were willie and kate while they were dating? i guess nobody knows except themselves. I dont believe the 4 years 5 years time frame thing, i mean, you could marry someome for life but still dont know that person very well and dont feel deeply attached to that person. The 4 years courtship may just for convenience. Willie might just need to have an extremely discret person to get laid with on the steady base; and Kate fit in back then because she wont kiss and tell. I know it sounds really low, but to speak of the validity of their relationship, we dont know a thing.
And for all those 'pro-kate' press.. i am thinking Pippa might be the news leeker or source that keeps the 'kate' twirl spinning...

Comment: Kate's strategy is intruiging - so far she has gone to all the places frequented by William only with her GFs , her sister , and William's male friends and connections . It's as if she still has hopes of being sent for and wants to be above reproach until then .
William must be uneasy because Kate knows all his secrets . He has to be nice to her . She might write a book or speak to a journalist if he makes her angry enough

Comment: I hate to say "in my day", but in my day getting passed around to your ex boyfriends friends was not a good thing. I am not sure what this means with Kate, but she sure is getting passed around. Just an observation.
Also, is it me or does anyone else feel its just plain creepy that William will be attending her cousins wedding and taking her on weekender. Its just weird. Either this breakup thing is a game with the press or Kate has gone a little psycho. For someone who complained about her privacy she sure is exposed.
