It may not have generated the same level of worldwide
attention as provoked by the 10th anniversary of another famous Princess's
death in a car crash, but today's date is an emotive one for the Royal
Family of Monaco, as well as friends and fans of Her Serene Highness Princess Grace.
On September 14th 1982, the people of Monaco mourned the
passing of the much loved Princess, a woman who had almost
single-handedly helped focus the spotlight of the world on the tiny
Principality upon her engagement and ultimately marriage to Prince Rainier III.
