The royal bedchamber has
always fascinated some of the more prurient sections of society. Now comes a
Sunday newspaper story about 'royal rumpty' which would have had Queen
Victoria reaching for the smelling salts.
According to the News of the World (yes, its that time of
the week again)
members of the Royalty Protection Squad charged to look after Prince
Harry have had to turn their attention to where he spends more intimate moments with his longtime girlfriend Chelsy Davy.
The 22-year-old Prince who as a teenager used to invite young women to join him at 'Club H' - his private den, complete with sound system and alcohol, in the basement at Highgrove House - has allegedly been 'ordered' to book a hotel room if he
wants to stay overnight with Chelsy.
Despite Chelsy having only been studying Law at the
University in the run-down Hyde Park area for less than a month, Harry
has already visited his girlfriend at her student digs in Leeds. Chelsy is sharing the apartments with two more students.
The location of Chelsy's quarters has reportedly prompted fears
amongst royal bodyguards about the fact she's now residing in a district which is notorious for
crime. A local road was dubbed 'Britain's most robbed street', such is the crimewave in this area of Leeds.
Of equal concern is the fact that a house close to Chelsy's new residence was raided by anti-terror police in
the aftermath of the deadly suicide attacks on London's
transport network on July 7th 2005.
