Speaking when his sons were still very young, Prince
Charles once mused that Prince William and Prince Harry were "normal" children in an "extraordinary" position.
This they may truly appreciate when the day
comes that, like their grandfather Prince Philip this week, they're duty-bound to
don a top hat and tails at midday for a ceremony full of pomp and
circumstance the likes of which helps make Britain great.
As members of the Royal Household breathe a sigh of relief that a State
Visit that was two years in the making is successfully behind them,
here's an exclusive (and quite lengthy) video from Calyx TV of
highlights from the Horse Guards Parade ceremony at which the Queen,
Prince Philip and Prince Charles welcomed King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia.
Meanwhile, accompanying the video is The Royalist Quiz No. 83 testing your knowledge of a tradition which is an integral part of royal and diplomatic life.
