Healer To Write Book On Dodi & Diana PDF Print E-mail

The life and death of Diana, Princess of Wales is well documented.

However, one question is yet to be truly answered: 'Who was Dodi Al Fayed?'.

Now, a woman who knew the playboy film producer almost as well as anybody is looking to write a book on her recollections of Diana and the ten years she spent working for the man who, in the princess's own words, brought "such joy into this chick's life".

Myriah Daniels was hired by Dodi Fayed as his personal masseur and spiritual healer.

While the outside world enjoyed only the briefest of glimpses into Diana's relationship with Dodi, her job gave Daniels the unique opportunity to witness for herself the burgeoning romance between her boss and the divorced Princess of Wales.

Before he became world famous thanks to his romance with the ex-wife and mother of not one but two future kings, Dodi is believed to have romanced a number of Hollywood's leading ladies. These include Julia Roberts, Brooke Shields, Winona Ryder and Mimi Rogers.

Dodi's name was also linked to Frank Sinatra's daughter, Tina, as well as Prince Andrew's ex-girlfriend, photographer Koo Stark, and model Marie Helvin.

The 42-year-old son of Harrods tycoon Mohamed Al Fayed had a penchant for beautiful women. In 1986, he was married and divorced within just eight months from American model Suzanne Gregard.

However, it is because of his relationship with the world's most famous woman that Dodi's name continues to make headline news.

Myriah Daniels was just one of a relatively small group of people to have spent time in close proximity with Diana and Dodi as they enjoyed their ill-fated holiday in the South of France in the summer of 1997.

Such was her proximity to the couple that, having regularly treated them aboard the Jonikal yacht on which Dodi romanced Diana, Ms Daniels was at Dodi's Paris flat awaiting the return of the couple in the early hours of Sunday 31st August 1997.

As the world knows, they never arrived.

Having witnessed the last ten days of Diana and Dodi's lives, Myriah Daniels was recently called to give evidence at the ongoing inquest into the deaths of the 36-year-old princess and her 42-year-old boyfriend.
