The
Valley of The Kings welcomed a Prince and a Princess today as the
Duke of York and his eldest daughter Beatrice posed for snapshots during a
visit to the Karnak temple in Luxor, Egypt.Although in North Africa for a series of engagements in his capacity as the United Kingdoms Special Representative for International Trade and Investment, today brought an opportunity for Prince Andrew to enjoy some time out from official meetings as he and Beatrice turned tourists for the day in the ancient city dubbed "the world's greatest open air museum". And so it was that the prince whos more often to be found dressed in a formal suit and tie mixed with other visitors to the ruined temples and chapels wearing a casual wardrobe which included a pair of grey trainers. Over the course of twelve months, the Queen's 19-year-old granddaughter has jetted thousands of miles across the globe, taking in such nations as Argentina and Brazil as part of her gap year travels. This week alone has been one of huge contrast for the young princess who is fifth-in-line to the throne. After all, how many teenagers start the week skiing in the freezing climes of Verbier and end it in the sunny climes of Egypt? It's been claimed that the Princess is so in love with her boyfriend that she's told her parents, Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York, that she plans to end the jet-setting for the immediate future to spend more time in London with Dave Clark, the man she's alleged to have referred to as "the one".
