It’s not often that the Prince of Wales speaks to an audience of people who could likely offer him more support than he can give them.

However, that was the scenario as the prince who has been dogged by back problems made a speech to an audience of osteopaths in the beautiful surroundings of the historic Drapers’ Hall in London.

Prince Charles attended the conference of The General Osteopathic Council in his capacity as Patron of the body which is this year celebrating its tenth anniversary of official regulation.




Addressing the audience, the prince hailed the organisation’s success, saying: “It seems to me that the whole profession is moving into a new era, having established itself so effectively as a source of leadership and knowledge within the international osteopathic community and across healthcare disciplines."

Like many more across the globe, the prince owes a debt of gratitude to osteopaths and physiotherapists who bring relief to broken or aching bones.
