The Royalist Quiz No. 86: Royal Trivia PDF Print E-mail
Written by Joanne Leyland
Thursday, 21 February 2008

In case you've finished all the other puzzles, including the crosswords, in The Royalist archives, here's a new multiple choice quiz for you all to hopefully enjoy without bursting too many brain cells.

Well, I did promise I would reach at least 100 (and hopefully beyond).

Please be sure to take a moment to post your scores in the Comments section below (don't worry, nobody will know your real result!).

Joanne

Oops, sorry about that typo from me (what is it with me and numbers?!). It's ironic as the answer to the question shared a birthday with my grandfather so I've always known their birthday.

Thanks Janice. Typo now fixed and my face is now red sad-smiley

What about Question 3?

Which of the following celebrates their birthday on March the 16th?

Prince Edward (Earl of Wessex)
Sarah, Duchess of York
Princess Anne (Princess Royal)

Which is supposed to be the correct answer? None of them has March 16th as a birthday.

Hello Sunbonnet.

Hey, that's not too bad as, thinking about it, I likely wouldn't get many right if this were a quiz written in America as I appreciate some of the questions can be a little UK-slanted.

Re. being given the answers......ah, that would be far too easy. Because I'm mean like this, you get the answers by getting the questions right (well actually, just between us as I don't suppose anybody's reading this: I would not have a clue how to re-program the program I use to produce the multiple choice quizzes to show the answer at every page turn (shhh....don't tell anybody my secret)

With the crosswords it's different - you can cheat AND get the answers if you still don't have a clue, all at the click of a button (me thinks that was a REAL technological wizard who programmed that crossword package I purchased for the site) thumbsuplaughing-smiley

Let me know when you've waded through the other 85 multiple choice quizzes...don't worry, it's only a total of 850 questions (aaagh!).

Good luck! happy-smiley

Oh, no! I only managed to get 5 questions correct on the Royalty Quiz and some I had to guess to indicate an answer at all. We don't get much news about your Royals over here. I'm glad I found your website, so I can learn more.----Are you going to give us all the correct answers eventually? I'm curious to know them. The Quiz was fun. Thank you.
