life incorporates more than a few slippery slopes (just ask the Prince of Wales and his family!).Now, Princess Madeleine has actively searched out the most slippery slope of all. But despite her gutsy endeavour, the popular young royal recently voted Sweden's number one choice of Valentine didn't quite manage to retain her usual high position as number three in the land. The 25-year-old daughter of King Carl Gustav and Queen Silvia, who also bears the title of Duchess of Halsingland and Gastrikland, has taken part in one of the nations most physically taxing sporting events, the Vasaloppet cross country ski competition. Having skied a total of 19 miles across country, the princess crossed the finishing line in exactly 2 hours, 22 minutes and 19 seconds. Comment on this article
