Princess Isabella To Visit 'Tassie'

While Prince Charles won’t be taking a front row seat at the opening of the Beijing Games, there will be at least one heir to the throne enjoying the spectacle.

It’s reported Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark will attend the Games, following which the family will travel to Mary’s homeland of Tasmania.

The couple are expected to appear at the Games on August 8th, where they’ll be cheering on the Danish competitors hoping to attain Olympic glory.

While the prince will stay in China until August 24th, the princess is expected to make an early departure from China to visit family and friends in Australia. Although plans are at an early stage, it's believed Frederik will join his wife later.

Although Mary has introduced her little 'Kingaroo' Prince Christian to Australia, this will be the first visit Down Under by Princess Isabella who, by this time, will be 16 months old.
