Scotland Yard has announced that no probe will be launched at present into the former
butler’s admission that he committed perjury during his appearance at the
inquest into the deaths of Diana, Princess of Wales and Dodi Fayed.
However, the police appear not to have ruled out taking action once the inquest
is over, a statement reading: "Any action the Metropolitan Police Service
would take around allegations of perjury would not be dealt with until
conclusion of the inquests."
"Any decision taken would be in consultation with the Coroner after the
jury have reached their verdict."
Although the coroner Lord Justice Scott Baker
has previously asked Burrell to re-appear at the Royal Courts of Justice to
explain himself following the emergence of The Sun video, he said on Thursday
that he will not "get involved" after Burrell made clear he has no plans to
return to Britain from his Florida home.
Police would be legally bound to investigate if a formal complaint was lodged
over the contents of the video in which Burrell is seen telling TV producer
friend Paul Khullar that he included "a couple of red herrings" in his two-and-a-half day testimony to the inquest in January.
Comment: I was one of the ones who thought Paul Burrell was Dianas rock and more and more I know think he is a liar I dont know so much a deliberate calculating liar but like a kid who wants attention to feed his ego so makes up stories the more I think of it the more I think it is highly unlikely the Queen would have sat and chatted to him for an hour wasnt it .How Diana at such a young age survived is unbelievable she certainly was strong not weak and I think now Cams is realizing the job Diana had was not easy what with Charles and all the duties involved in Royalty being a mistress must have been much easier, wonder if she ever thinks what Diana went through.

Comment: The Queen takes extreme care. It is extremely unlikely that she said anything of note to Paul Burrell. The silly man wanted to appear to have more information to "sell" and thereby further enrich himself. There are many things that you can call him ..... but I doubt he was the Queen's confidant.

Comment: It would be uncomfortable for Her Majesty if Burrell would reveal more of what she said to him.
Just as it would be uncomfortable if the British populace KNEW the history of the Monarchy in these Isles, to the effect it has been deleted off Her Majesty's web-site.

In fact, the history of Britain goes back to 583bc, predating Christianity by quite a bit; and that history is what is being sold out and the British people sold out.
But this knowledge is not percolating among British subjects, so nobody knows.
It so sad. It's like the American people not knowing that the USA has been nothing but a Delaware corporation since 1871 when the Republic United States went bankrupt. Since that time, European bankers have given loans to "USAInc" utilizing birth certificates of US nationals as collateral.
Oh, the frauds just go on and on and on .... right under our noses.
