She may have missed out on a Christmas morning hug and a St. Valentine’s Day
kiss, but Kate Middleton has finally been reunited with her seemingly elusive
prince.
The couple whose romance has been the subject of yet more speculation in recent
weeks – borne no doubt of the despair of the media at the lack of photo
opportunities of the couple together – according to diary columnist Richard Kay, William and Kate were spotted enjoying a
Sunday lunch at a pub on the aptly titled King’s Road in Chelsea.
Keen to continue to build their relationship far from the spotlight
which has
helped to destroy some of those of the most recent past, William and
Kate reportedly
asked for a discreet table at the back of the Builders Arms gastro-pub
as they
dined with another couple (not Prince Harry and Chelsy Davy, who are
said to have now jetted away for their own reunion in the sunnier
climes of Botswana).
Unfortunately for the prince who is
notoriously keen to protect his private life, it wasn’t long before
there was an unwelcome addition
to the lunchtime menu: the paparazzi.
Comment: For my digestion, I would think I eat lunch slower while I read all this stuff.
For Kate's digestion, she doesn't look like she eats more than soup and salad for lunch.
And Wills, he seems to be in control of the situation, he gets to ask, so having honeymoons, lunches and drinks, is probably nice for him.
He can burn off the calories playing soldier.

Comment: Good for them - is it possible that they have worn out the paps just a bit? Joanne, you hit the nail right on the head (though a few photogs deserve it more!) - Kate stories sell papers but there does not seem to be much to write about. Perhaps, those who want this couple to patronize their restaurants will make a better effort in shielding their famous guests, or lose their business. No wonder the two of them hide out the few times they do have to get together. May the press give them some privacy.
