Page 1 of 2 Having been enjoying some time away from the
spotlight during his four-month attachment with the Royal Air Force,
Prince William is to return to the public stage this weekend. But this wont be too arduous a duty for the sports-mad prince as he travels to Wales for the latest stage of the Six Nations rugby championship. Looking ahead to what its hoped will be a royal occasion worthy of a mention in the history books, WRU Chairman David Pickering says: "We are delighted that Prince William will be at the Millennium Stadium on Saturday to share what I am sure will be a very special day for Welsh rugby." "He has taken time out of an extremely busy schedule and we are delighted that he will present the RBS 6 Nations Trophy to the tournament winner." One person may be relieved that this is an official rather than private appearance by the prince: his girlfriend, Kate Middleton. |
