Diana Inquest: Burrell 'Removed Ring From Dead Princess's Body' PDF Print E-mail
Written by Joanne Leyland
Monday, 17 March 2008

According to Mr Faux, who worked for Paul Burrell until 2003, the former butler admitted he’d considered throwing some items from a cruise liner into the sea so that they would never be found.

The former bodyguard also claims to have seen Burrell taking "one or two" bin bags containing items from his years in royal service which he had "hidden" at the home of a neighbour in Frandon, Cheshire.

Following this removal process which Mr Faux says took place in November or December 2002, Burrell is alleged to have "frantically" burnt the items in his back garden.

If the timeline is correct, this act would have taken place in the days or weeks after Burrell was acquitted at his Old Bailey trial of numerous acts of theft from the estate of Diana, Princess of Wales.

During his time working for Burrell, who now lives in Florida, Mr Faux says his boss was "upset and virtually crying" his bodyguard initially refused to sign a confidentially agreement which would bar him from publicly disclosing any details about what he saw during his time with the former royal aide-turned-reality TV ‘star’.

Monika,

It is a good 'Quote, Unquote'(even if I do say so myself).
Glad you liked it.

This man's life would be so much easier if he had kept his mouth shut. He is paying back big-time for cashing in.

How much more of the story is being hidden?

The 90-minute gap is still a big question. Jurors are being given to hear innuendos and gossip, but the real testimony of the First Responders who arrived at the scene has not been permitted, nor what their orders were.

Why didn't they act to save Diana quickly? Was that JUST French policy, or something else?

We must hold the prosecutor's feet to the fire, to get answers and not just Diana's motives. Her motives don't matter. Buckingham Palace's motives do matter.
