Diana Inquest: Fayed Challenges Queen & Philip Ruling PDF Print E-mail
Written by Joanne Leyland
Tuesday, 18 March 2008
Mohamed Al Fayed has again hit out at the coroner’s decision not to call the Queen or Prince Philip to give evidence at the inquest into the deaths of his son, Dodi, and Diana, Princess of Wales.

Mr Fayed’s spokesman Michael Cole said today: "We believe the late Princess' former parents in law have information which only they alone can give to the inquest and it is relevant to the matters being investigated."

In an attempt to over-turn Lord Justice Scott Baker's earlier ruling, lawyers representing the Harrods boss will this afternoon seek leave to apply for a judicial review during an appearance before three judges at the Royal Courts of Justice.

Meanwhile, over five months since proceedings began, the inquest itself will today hear the final evidence ahead of a ruling by the jury at some point in the weeks ahead.

I agree. This is the only "suspicious deaths" case I have ever seen where the immediate family and the First Responders at the accident -- none -- are called to tell their stories.

Is this a coverup of something? Quite apparently.

Will the jury buy that they are not being allowed to hear the whole story, but there MUST NOT HAVE BEEN ANY CONSPIRACY AT WORK? Of course not!

That's almost funny -- that anyone would think any jury SO stupid (that was not being bribed or otherwise intimidated).
