world's worst kept secret was revealed on Saturday as it was finally
revealed that the future King of Denmark's name is Christian.The future King's full name is Christian Valdemar Henri John, the final two names being a tribute to, respectively, Frederik and Mary's fathers. You may remember that the wedding of Crown Prince Frederik to Mary Donaldson was full of emotion, the cameras capturing the moment when Frederik cried as he watched his bride walk towards him. Today, the christening of this clearly adoring couple's new son was equally moving, with Mary spending much of the ceremony gently cradling her baby son, kissing his face and whispering motherly love to soothe him. And yes, Frederik too shed a few more tears in public, which was lovely to see considering how many Princes (not to name them!) have in their time shown little emotion towards their wife and child.  After months of speculation, the names of the new Prince's godparents were also revealed and, as we at The Royalist exclusively told you a few weeks ago, thanks to our excellent source, Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden was, indeed, named as a Godmother.
