Page 3 of 3 The latest addition to the Royal Family was also protected by the historic lace christening robe which was first worn in 1870 by King Christian X of Denmark.  Not for the first time, Mary made sure that her homeland of Australia was represented at the royal ceremony, with Eucalyptus leaves mixed with hyacinths, fragrant jasmine and lilies adorning the inside of Copenhagen's Christiansbory Palace Chapel, making for a beautiful scene. 
 Tonight, the couple are hosting a grand dinner behind closed doors for family and friends where, no doubt, more glasses will be raised in toast with a wish for health and happiness to this loving and dignified Royal Family. Comment on this article
