Britain's most popular free newspaper, The Metro, injects some doubt into its coverage of the inquest verdict.
While the majority of the British press is imploring everyone to essentially 'move on', The Metro
asks whether there may now be an attempt (presumably by Mohamed Al
Fayed) to prosecute the paparazzi after they were blamed - in
conjunction with the dead driver, Henri Paul - for having caused the
crash which killed Diana and Dodi.
Again, as you can see the headline reads: 'Diana: the final verdict. Or is it? Jury decides the princess was killed unlawfully - but threat of a legal challenge remains'.
As
with all of the
newspapers, the headlines are referring solely to Diana, with no
immediately evident reference to the other British victim whose death
was ruled upon by the jury at the High Court: Dodi Al Fayed.
