In light of Tuesday's TV interview with the Harrods boss, it was always
going to be interesting to see if the emotional retreat of Mohamed Al
Fayed features prominently on page one of the Daily Express.
As you likely know, this is a publication which has
always
followed Mr Fayed's lead when it came to promoting and investigating the
conspiracy theories which have
built up around the Paris crash.
The
Express manages to give an air of victory and vindication to Al
Fayed's announcement, the headline reading as you can see: 'I've proved my point, I'm tired...it's over'.
The inquest into the deaths of Diana and Dodi now concluded, another tragic blonde returns to the front page of the Daily Express.
Ahead
of the first anniversary of her truly mysterious disappearance in
Portugal, Madeleine McCann's face once again stares out of the front
page following the news that her parents have been asked by police to
return to the resort to take part in a new reconstruction reminding the
world of their little girl who disappeared, apparently without a trace.
