Last night, Prince William swapped his
preferred garb of jeans and t-shirts for a smart suit and bow-tie as he
joined the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall at a sunset ceremony
marking the 90th anniversary of the Royal Air Force.
Ahead of further coverage of today's passing out parade from RAF Cranwell, log-in and click here or on the accompanying image for an exclusive video from Calyx TV of highlights from last night's event as well as a gallery of high quality photographs.
Meanwhile,
check back later for a second exclusive video from Prince William's
passing out parade
at which, despite earlier media reports to the contrary, the prince was
more than happy to be seen with girlfriend Kate Middleton by his side.
Comment: Contessa sadly you could be in for a very long wait.
But on this issue if William didn't already feel the sense of entitlement he wouldn't have used the helicopter (a taxpayer possession and under the guise of a 'training exercise, they must think we're stupid) for what was a pruely private outing. He and his friends should have orangised other transport. Another bad PR mistake imho.

Comment: "Someone needs to stand out of the box"...You are so very right Exploora! Someone DID take a very large, courageous step out of a very comfortable box. Someone who was respected and admired around the world for her hard work and tireless efforts on the behalf of those less fortunate. Someone who stood up for the innocent victims of landmines. Someone who is much missed. DIANA stood out of the box and look what happened to her. I would like to see who will follow her lead.

Comment: When you think about the history of flight, and the RAF only being 90 years old, I think we have no idea what planes are actually doing to the climate, let alone bombs etc.
Of course Prince William looks dashing, handsome and charming but I think someone needs to stand out of the box, imagine a world without war as being a mcsolution.
I suspect Harry will turn up sooner or later in another photo "shoot".

Comment: Odd that Harry wasn't there - I wonder if he was asked to stay away so as not to overshadow his brother

Comment: I to found it sad that Diana was not there she was always so loving and I always picture her running to her boys arms opened. I could see her running to and giving Wiliam a big hug. When I seen William and Kate photographed for tv I wonder how really healthy that relationship is William looked pouty and Kate had to run almost to keep up with him I truly think he is his fathers son. Kate seems to and of course I dont know to not be a woman of her own she seems to follow and idolize William without her own identity.

Comment: I so agree with you Monika it was really sad looking at the photos and knowing that Diana should have been there. She is missing out on so many things that are now happening in the boys lives.

Comment: Princess Di may be beaming and she may have a great view next to the "face" of God.

Comment: How wise C/H was to invite Kate Middleton . Without her presence the occasion would have been a lot less interesting .

Comment: I tend to agree with you Monika, sad but true.

Comment: Thanks for the video, Joanne.
It’s beyond sad not to see a proud, beaming Princess Diana at family occasions such as this. She'd be bursting with pride and walking on air! Somehow, it makes the reality of the situation even less appealing.
