thinks we’ve been here before.....
Bookmakers have slashed their odds on a 2008 engagement between Prince William
and Kate Middleton.
The move comes just a day after, as widely covered here yesterday, the couple were pictured together for the first
time in official surroundings as Kate joined William and members of his Windsor
and Spencer families for his passing out ceremony at RAF Cranwell.
The odds on a 2008 engagement – one which many feel is actually more likely to
come next year rather than this (after William's attachment with the Royal Navy) – have now been halved from 2-1 to evens.
According to William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams, who must also be suffering a
feeling of déjà vu: "Surely it is a case of when not if they get engaged."
PS: On a personal (and purely selfish) note, I wonder what the odds are on me going crazy if I have to
write another article along the lines of ‘Bookmakers Slash The Odds on William & Kate
Engagement’.
And if I did get through the growing 'to do' list I think I'd be sat in the corner asleep!

Comment: Exploora...lol!! If you keep adding to Joanne's 'to-do' list, she may go on strike and THEN what would we do?

Comment: I was wondering how Joanne was going to sneak into the stag party, if and when it happens so we can see an exclusive video.

Comment: Did anyone else notice how Kate kept displaying her left hand in many of the photos? She is wearing a ring on her middle finger. Hmmmmmm?

Comment: Joanne, personally I hope you go from writing about bookmakers to wedding dress designers! I really hope they get married. She's good for William and the RF could use a fresh young face with Kate’s style and demeanor.

Comment: It is nice the spencers were there too.
I think the odds would be very high that I would go nuts if I had to write as many lines about the bookies and odds that Kate and Wills will get married, as Joanne has had to write. I think I would resort to pasting the same line over and over again to minimize the risk. Then of course if I did that the articles would lack the flair these articles always seem to have.

Comment: I think they are wise to postpone the announcement, Remember the hype and hoopla that started as soon as Charles proposed to Diana? Right now Kate can go on with a semi-real life. That would/will all change once a ring is involved with a public announcement.
