The Duchess of Cornwall visited the Animal Welfare College in Hatfield in her capacity as Patron of The Animal Care Trust.![]() Camilla, who was appearing on what is an increasing number of solo engagements, is owner of three Jack Russell terriers and so she was delighted to see how well a dog called Frodo was recovering after spinal surgery at the College: "He looks a very happy person now. It is so wonderful to see the end result. He is obviously very used to being a bit of star." The Duchess was at the College to give her high profile support to the 'Paws For A Cause' appeal which hopes to raise £5 million to finance the building of several operating theatres and consulting rooms. ![]() Camilla's next public engagement will be on Monday when she'll join Prince Charles at the opening of a sports centre at Westonbirt School in Gloucestershire.
