Clarence
House has announced that Prince William and Prince Harry will travel to South
Africa this month to take part in a real boys own dream: an off-road motorcycle
rally. The race, which will take place in the same month as the princes attend the premiere of the latest James Bond movie, will raise funds for charity. These are UNICEF, the Nelson Mandela Childrens Fund and Prince Harrys own organisation, Sentable. "At times they will be sitting on their bikes looking up at a 60 degree slope wondering how the hell they are going to get up it not even realising there is a deep river crossing to get through on the other side. It is a very dangerous route and they will undoubtedly collect a fair few bumps and bruises along the way." The princes and all other participants have donated a minimum of £1,500 to take part in the once-in-a-lifetime adventure organised by Enduro Africa. It's hoped the trip will ultimately raise around £300,000 for charity. Comment on this article
