Rod Stewart To Perform At Charles' 60th PDF Print E-mail
Written by Joanne Leyland

Clarence House has announced that rock star Rod Stewart will perform at next month’s 60th birthday party at Highgrove House for the Prince of Wales.

The rock star who also appeared at the July 2007 Concert For Diana is a clear favourite of the Wales family.

In December 2006, the wrinkly rocker sealed his popularity with the future king by publicly declaring that he thinks Camilla is sexy.

The following summer the rock star who has enjoyed worldwide hits with such classics as Do You Think I’m Sexy and We Are Sailing was presented with his CBE by Prince Charles.

The main celebration for the prince’s landmark birthday, which actually falls on November 14th, will take place on November 13th, when the Queen hosts the Palace party. William and Harry's girlfriends, Kate Middleton and Chelsy Davy, are expected to be on the guest list.

The following weekend will see Charles and Camilla hosting a more intimate party for friends and family at Highgrove House in Gloucestershire.
