Once again, the appearance of Kate and William together in public has resulted in speculation that they may well be considering getting engaged. This is despite the fact William, who has now returned to Sandhurst, has already publicly said he is too young for marriage.
You surely have to feel a little sorry for the Duchess of Cornwall as it's clear that the media are going to increasingly publish unflattering images of her (as we saw in Saturday's papers) in comparison to photographs of the glamorous young Kate.
Then again, it could be the perfect situation for the Prince of Wales and his wife. After all, if Kate Middleton does become a Princess one day soon, it's likely that Charles and Camilla could finally enjoy a little respite from the media spotlight which has haunted (and taunted) them for so many years.

Comment: I think the chances of William marrying a non-royal are higher then him marrying into royalty.
Naturally, being first cousins William will not be able to marry Zara Phillips or Beatrice.
Whether or not he decides to marry Kate who knows? But I'd think you'd better get used to the idea of him marrying one of the 'citizens', because potential royal brides are very thin on the ground!!!!!!!!!

Camilla is one in a million, Charles should have married her from the get go.
I am against Royalty marrying middle class citizens, aside from Camilla. People who are commoners, like Kate, have no idea what they are marrying into. Inside the Royal Family it is a nightmare, it works for those who have grown up in it and respect the partner enough to realize they will hardly get to see each other.
If someone has never grown up in one don't marry into one - my words to Kate. Kate is much too accomodating and is very naive about the Royal Circles.
William should marry Royalty or someone used to being in the spotlight. He can't marry for love, that's just the price to pay for being a Crown Prince. Being in a Royal family, love is not enough to make the marriage last (look At Fergie and Andrew...disaster from the start).
Harry is not under the pressure, William is, and can marry whoever he wants. William and Kate should both get a wake up call, and he should marry someone who has grown up in a Royal Family. That's just the way it goes..
I suppose, a whole bunch of angry posts will follow, but I agree with Paula who posted that Kate is too available and needs to get a real job because she does not have the money if he left her.
I wonder why she chose St. Andrews to attend University? Alas, the answer is obvious, it was not for the golfing or nightlife that is for sure.

Comment: Turning up when your boyfriend returns to play a rugby match with his old high school seems a bit claustrophobic and desperate. Perhaps this is the only time they saw each other that weekend. Currently William doesn't have much time for a girlfriend in his life. Is Kate too accommodating? Is she too available? I don't think William will marry for a long time no matter who he marries.I thing it would be good for Kate to have a career and a life for herself outside her relationship with William and the Royal Family.

Comment: Honestly, Charles will be thrilled when attention is paid to William and Kate. That is the way of the world. Diana went out of her way to compete with Charles. Something that William and Kate do not do. Diana wanted to be Princess of Wales without a Prince of Wales. She forgot that she was famous because she was part of a larger group, not because she was famous in her own right. That said, Kate and William make a marvelous couple. As do Charles and Camilla. I am sure they will continue to get plenty of publicity.

I don't mean to appear rude to anyone here but I don't think it's fair to compare William and his possible future treatment of Kate to that of Charles's treatment to Diana. Just give him a chance. Just because his father was not loyal to his first wife, doesn't mean William will automaticly go down that road too.

Comment: Yes she is, she is working hard at trying to become the wife of Prince William. Why else would she not be seeking paid employment if she didn't think she was a shoe in? It's not like she 'needs' to work after she gets married, her main job will be trying to produce the next heir and spare to the heir to the heir of the throne. Comment: Oh just you wait, if or when these two become engaged guess who is going to virtually disappear from the news. Both Charles and Camilla will become overshadowed by these two and we all know what happens to people who overshadow Charles. Just you wait and see.
