Prince Harry Poster 'Mocks' American President Bush PDF Print E-mail
Written by Joanne Leyland
Saturday, 25 March 2006
Prince Harry has a poster mocking President George W. Bush in his room at Sandhurst, according to a report in the Daily Mirror.

A source tells the paper: "Harry's got a great sense of humour".

The poster lists 100 Bushisms with the headline: 'Great quotes of our time.'

Number one is the President's famous comment on the war in Iraq: "I think war is a dangerous place" while another is: "Our enemies never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country, and neither do we."

Before his relationship with Chelsy Davy, Harry reportedly enjoyed flings with several  young women and was once even linked to a Page 3 model.

The third-in-line to the throne is also said to be especially fond of a poster of a 'High Street Honey' taken from men's magazine FHM.

Showing a deeper side to Harry, the Prince who may one day serve in Iraq has also pinned up a dramatic picture showing a silhouette of soldiers against a sunset in Iraq.

Leave poor Harry alone. I am an American and love the Bushisms. I have a page a day calander with them on and think they make a good laugh. After all the man is a big joke. Harry should have any poster he wants in his private quarters.

That's Great. I'm American and I think that's absolutly hillarious. Just because you are in the military doesn't mean that you can't have a sense of humor or have your own thoughts that may be different from those that are your commanders.

Lisa, you are onto a potential money spinner with your Charlesisms. See if you can get a few into print and see how fast they go, I for one would love one. As for Harry's poster, it is harmless, even George W. has enough of a sense of humour to see how funny they sound, he has often made fun of his own mangling of the English/American language. When all is said and done, war is a dangerous place, it is not for the faint hearted and we should all then praise those who go to war, not because they want to but because that is what they their career is all about. Any serviceman will tell you that their careers really don't have any meaning unless they actually can put into practice what they train for, sad fact but true. And believe you me we need our armed services.

I think we should send Harry a poster of Charlesisms:
"Whatever in love means"
"Yes I was faithful until I wasn't"
"Oh, they're all going to blame me. What do I do? What do I do?"
"Your greatest achievement is to love me"
"I should come back as your tampon"
"I will never remarry"
"I am no longer seeing Mrs. Parker Bowles"
"Please, none of my friends should talk to the press about Diana"
"Forsaking all others, til death do us part"
"If you don't accept my girlfriend, I'll skip Grannie's 100th
birthday party"
"She's just a friend and I won't get rid of her"
The guy's a laugh a minute!

I am American also and I don't think Harry is mocking Bush the quotes are funny and Bush at his best in his choice of words. And why does something private in Harry's room come to the media's attention? Give him the privacy he deserves.
