Newspaper: An Easter Engagement For William & Kate?

Despite the fact Prince William has said he doesn't want to get married until he's at least 28 or 30, according to a report in this weekend's Mail on Sunday, the Prince and Kate Middleton could be just "weeks away" from getting engaged.
Columnist Katie Nicholl reveals that the Prince and his girlfriend of four years are preparing to enjoy a Caribbean holiday together during the final two weeks of William's Easter break from Sandhurst.
A 'pal' of the couple is quoted as saying: "This will be the first occasion for a while they have spent time together alone and Kate really thinks a proposal could happen. She has definitely spoken about marriage with her girlfriends."
"She and William have been going out for more than three years and she is thinking about the future, like any girl her age would do."
Confirming that Kate has decided that William is "the one" for her, the friend claims: "She’s really missed him while he’s been at Sandhurst and is looking forward to them spending some quality time together in the Caribbean."
"They have a lot to catch up on, as they have been apart since January. Kate wants to discuss their future but she is planning her moves carefully and is waiting for the right moment."
Comment: i think the lesson here is never rush things in a relationship,in time if they both ready then so it will be. true love does not require time table of age limit or time span from dating to official,it is more of as tons of memories that person endowed in your life and that is more of a fairy tale.dont try to push a person to a thing that even the greatest king in the world's heart cannot handle.Love is always patient.

Comment: I think it is too soon for Prince William to marry Kate. They should have more time to make such a big commitment. Why should'nt they live together like many couples do. Perhaps it would help them to know if they are right for each other.

When he does decide to get married, I just hope it's to someone that could love him for being him. Not some prince in a fairy tale. Let's face it people is there really a happily ever after. I think not. In my opinion i see no future for kate in william's life. So let us all prepare for the final finally and that's there break up.Then we can talk about who will, will date next. God for bid we see him talking to another girl. Then the tabloids might say that's his wife.

Comment: well its interesting...has this ever happened to any other heir to the throne in history...well, second in direct line better yet, to which I dont think it has. It certainly has not been the case with a Prince of Wales; not even Charles, since in all actuality he and Diana's was an arranged marriage like all the rest. It will be interesting to see how all this plays out, for if she will one day be the tenth Princess of Wales, will she be prepared for the life it entails?? This really brings to mind how the monarchial system now works. Is palace life still the same as when Diana and Fergie took residence? Or, has it indeed changed with the times? For that matter, how will Kate be received? Will it be like DI-mania circa 1980? and if not, does that mean that the euphoria that once surrounded the Crown is slowly dwindling away? If they marry I do hope they go all out with the wedding..its been twenty years since a grand street closing royal wedding and Willam will be King one day, so perhaps it could be as big as Charles and Diana's..I think it should be..the monarchy needs to regain it stature and mystique and stay away from register's offices.......

Comment: Why is everyone pushing William to marry Kate. As Charles lived with Camilla for years before they married why not the same for William. I understand they will have a place at Balmoral and will share rooms at St. James Palace. I think they will just live together for a few years.

but he and Kate been out dating for more than 3 years and time for both getting married! maybe 25 years old or wait till 30 years old he told press about that.
i would like watch Royals wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton like his parents in 1981 and makes his parents proud and also his late mother also.

Comment: I just love the fact the pals always talk about what should be private between the couple, but the names are never revealed. William is very mature and I think he will wait until after the army to marry. After all, look at Andrew and Sarah - they were together only 42 days a year at most and it basically destroyed their marriage. William has undoubtedly seen and learnt a lot about relationships and I think Kate would wait for him and support him in all his endeavours. I don't think they want to repeat history and will want a marriage that works like the Wessexes' marriage and they courted 5 years.
