Page 2 of 3 Despite learning problems which resulted in her being held back a year at school, the Queen's grandaughter showed great determination and went on to pass nine GCSE exams in the summer of 2005, attaining two A* grades in drama and history, two more standard A grades and five Bs. 17-year-old Beatrice is now in the first year of her A-levels and rumour has it she will go on to study at an Ivy League university in America. It is in the States that her mother, Sarah ('Fergie') has been allowed to rebuild her life following the scandal which surrounded her separation from Prince Andrew and her affairs with Texan millionaires Steve Wyatt and John Bryan, the latter of which resulted in the famous (and utterly humiliating) newspaper images of a topless Duchess frolicking with her lover in the South of France in August 1992. "She works hard at looking good and she is always flying the flag for her mum. I would see her as being right at the forefront of the modern generation of royals. While William and Harry are going down the traditional royal route of joining the services, I think she'll do something different." |
