From Buckingham to Beckingham Palace For Beatrice & Sarah

It's long been said that celebrities are the new royalty and it would seem even members of the House of Windsor are buying into this.

What else could explain the presence of the Queen's granddaughter, Princess Beatrice of York, accompanied by Mum Sarah, at the flamboyant celebrity-laden party hosted by England and Real Madrid soccer star David Beckham and his high profile wife Victoria ('Posh Spice')?

Princess Beatrice is becoming an increasingly regular (and glamorous) figure on the social scene, happily mixing with pop and rock stars.

Last night when the 17-year-old Princess found herself in the company of such household names (in Britain at least) as footballers Wayne Rooney, Rio Ferdinand and Michael Owen, as well as some of the biggest names on the music scene, including Ozzy Osbourne and Robbie Williams.

Say it quietly but perhaps Sarah is envisioning a 'footballers wife' life for her eldest daughter?

Name: Pamela	Comment: From my own experience of living in Spain for the last 14 years, this "mixing of the classes" is perfectly normal, with almost no demarkation between types of famous persons; be they real royalty, rock stars, sporting personalities or whatever. The Duchess of York seems to have moved with the times and embraced more European ways, much, I think, as we might expect of her.

Name: Karmen Day	Comment: I don't think your assesment of the situation is fair, either to Princess Beatrice or her Mum Sarah Duchess of York. She is just a teenage girl who wants to have fun, like any I suspect. I do not think Sarah has any alterior motives, she just wants to do as much as she can with her daughter.
